Basically, this is what we are using for our (still-under-development) 
french version of HTS. We have adapted the phones to our phoneset, we 
have added some french-related questions and removed some non-relevant 
questions from the english demo file. And it seems to work (but, as  
Heiga suggested, we also had some talks with phonetician and speech 
recognition people which were really helpful)
