Dear Festival List,

I'd like to announce a career opportunity for those of you who are pushing
the envelope with new synthesis technologies:
(Pittsburgh, PA) Cepstral LLC seeks a talented speech synthesis engineer
familiar with HMM and parametric synthesis. Cepstral is a leader in speech
synthesis and voice building technology. The company was founded in 2000 as
a spin-out from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). An exciting new project
requires a specialist with a command of the latest techniques in statistical
parametric speech synthesis and the skills to implement within a commercial
product. A team of coders and a tested engine framework awaits your
arrival. Product success requires vision and creativity as well as solid
QA, and optimization skills. The position is 25% research and 75% execution
within a commercial environment. Position provides mentorship through
university relationships. The position is high in the organization and has
freedom from personnel management.
Desired skills include familiarity with latest spectrum of technology
including HMM, Flite, Festival, and/or other commercial engines. The
candidate should have an understanding of C programming and Perl. Languages
front-end experience a plus.

Salary negotiated on capabilities and experience. Interested candidates
should send CV to: support@xxxxxxxxxxxx, subject: HMM Engineer.

I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,

	-Craig
