[hts-users:01264] Re: HTS-2.1RC1

Hi all,

I have a small comment on the new functions of HTS-2.1RC1.

As Heiga wrote in previous mail, HTS-2.1RC1 starts to support new adaptation
algorithm called CSMAPLR adaptation. It actually supports not only the
CSMAPLR adaptation but also SMAPLR adaptation.

When you use the SMAPLR adaptation, please use the following variables
in your configuration file for HERest as well as other normal essential variables:

ADAPTKIND    = TREE
DURADAPTKIND = TREE
TRANSKIND    = MLLRMEAN
USEBIAS      = TRUE
DURTRANSKIND = MLLRMEAN
DURUSEBIAS   = TRUE
USESMAP      = TRUE
MLLRDIAGCOV  = FALSE
SMAPSIGMA    = 1.0

If you want to use the CSMAPLR adaptation, please use the following variables.

ADAPTKIND    = TREE
DURADAPTKIND = TREE
TRANSKIND    = CMLLR
USEBIAS      = TRUE
DURTRANSKIND = CMLLR
DURUSEBIAS   = TRUE
USESMAP      = TRUE
SMAPSIGMA    = 1.0

Please send bag reports and any problems to us. The feedbacks from you
make the release of final HTS 2.1 faster.

Thanks,

New features are as follows:

HTS-2.1RC1:
* Bug fixes.
* CSMAPLR adaptation.
* HHEd MU command supports '*2' style mixing up.
* Mixture-level occupancy threshold in mixing up.

hts_engine_API-0.96:
* Bug fixes.
* Support flexible model structure.
* Support LSP-type parameters.

For details, please refer to ChangeLog and README included in the releases.

This is the *release candidate*, it may contain bugs.
Any bug reports and comments are highly welcome.
If no fatal bugs are found, we release HTS-2.1 and hts_engine_API-1.0 at the end of this April.
