I tried to run it using the latest hts_engine based on hts_engine 
API-0.99 and found it worked successfully.  I found that you're using 
'$' and '@' as phoneme symbol.  Old hts_engine doesn't support 
non-alphabetical characters for phoneme names.  So It caused your 
problem.  The latest hts_engine does support these characters.
