[hts-users:02216] Re: The first HTS meeting

Hi all,

Thank you very much for coming to the first HTS meeting.
We had about 60 participants, which is twice as many as
Keiichi and I expected initially.

Our slides used for the meeting and photos are available at
http://hts.sp.nitech.ac.jp/?The%20first%20HTS%20meeting

Thanks again,
Dr. Junichi Yamagishi

You are warmly invited to join us for the first HTS meeting in
Brighton during Interspeech 2009.

After an Interspeech tutorial on HMM-based speech synthesis by
Prof. Tokuda and Dr. Zen, the meeting will be held from 6pm to
8:30pm, Sunday, 6th September in the 'Consort' room of the Grand

We will have a short presentation covering HTS release history
and new features in the next release of version 2.1.1. A new
HTS voice library for Festival released from CSTR will also be
shown. This will be followed by an open discussion and
networking.

We will also provide some liquid refreshments and canapes.

We hope to see many of you in Brighton,
Prof. Keiichi Tokuda and Dr. Junichi Yamagishi
