A full-time research fellow position in the areas of expressive speech
synthesis is available at the Speech and Language Technology Program,
Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). The candidate will
conduct research and development in expressive speech synthesis for
‘Lily’ project, which is to develop natural human-machine interaction
interface. The initial contract for this position is two years and is
renewable.
Required Qualifications:
A PhD in speech processing, computer science, electrical engineering,
or a related discipline.
Research experience in speech synthesis/recognition. Practical
expertise with speech synthesis system, HTS, HTK, or Festival.
Good programming skills and communication skills.
Research experience in emotional speech synthesis or voice morphing is a plus.
