Hi,

If you don't have a text processing tool for the new language, you can perhaps give Ossian a try: http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/owatts/ossian/html/overview.html . It uses HTS for the acoustic modelling, and an unsupervised front-end.

In case you need additional data for training, you can also use ALISA: http://simple4all.org/product/alisa/ to align speech and text resources.

I am able to generate force aligned files using htk..  Not able to figure out how to
