The workshop will highlight some of the present research and development activities in Speech processing areas, which are mostly applicable to meet the needs of North East India. The workshop is being organized under the aegis of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. The workshop will include invited talks and interactive lecture sessions by eminent researchers and scientists in this field. In addition to that hands-on training sessions are also included in the workshop program schedule. This will enable the participants for having basic knowledge on speech processing area and will encourage them to work further in the arena of speech and language technology based solutions.
