Lots of the questions on this list are really HTK questions rather than HTS ones, so I suggest people look first in the HTKBook for the answers. To use HTS, you really need some familiarity with HTK, and the HTKBook is the place to get that.

The answer to the above can be found in the HTKBook (look for 'mixing up').
