I am not so familiar with Festival. As far as I know, you can use Festival to generate the .utt files and then use HTS's scripts to extract .lab from them. You must ensure the language dependent parts of Festival are repaced by your Portuguese ones.

I have some files *.scm about the duration, intonation, phrasing, lexicons, phrase, phones, etc. for Festival.
Are they the Front End ?

How can I generate the lab files of the gen directory from these *.scm files ?
I have read the Festival manual, but I not found any command to do that.
